Too Many
Someone I know just purchased a new home with a Military VA Loan. She is hoping to do get some decorating done and a few renovations. She seems happy with how it worked out for her. With the economy the way it is she came out very well as far as interest rates are concerned. From what I understand they are at a record low right now.
I read a news article about how it is such a good time (if you are able) to refinance or buy a home if you have the comfort in your employment. I'm not an expert but I do see the goings on around me. I see a lot of houses up for sale regardless of where I drive. Whether or not they are selling (or why), I don't know. From my small town all the way up to Lake Erie where we went fishing, there's really a lot of homes for sale in all price points.
I don't know what her VA loan requirements were and/or if all loans pretty much operate in the same fashion but it got me thinking. I hate to see people in havoc and losing their homes. I've known a few in the past few years who either didn't have a fixed income rate or suffered a loss and just couldn't keep up. Every time I see a for sale sign (since there are so many), it just makes me wonder and my hearts goes out to them.

CafeMom is a meeting place for moms: an online community where thousands of moms come together every day to connect with each other. The site is free to join and all moms are welcome. If you haven't joined yet, it just takes a few minutes! I joined a few months back just to see what it was all about. There is a vast range of topics/groups some even humorous about all things mom, women, life, and more!

We've lightly browsed Undermount Sinks while out and about but have yet to settle plus I've stalked HGTV and have been getting my head full of ideas. It's just not one of those things we do not need right away. Plus, one project usually leads to another and I just know the counters would be next eventually!
Our sink just has items that I don't use like a built in soap dispenser. The sprayer also has a mind of it's own! We don't have a dishwasher (nor am I willing to give up cabinet space for one) so it's essential that we eventually have something that does work how we would like. If we replaced ours we'd also have to replace the faucet as well which I'd be happy to do since I've seen some I've liked. Maybe one day down the road we'll find a Undermount Sink that suits our needs once we're ready.

Mailbox Goodies
We've had some company for the last week or so and with getting ready for school I haven't had much time to sort through all my mail until just yesterday. I got a bunch of goodies plus a couple of wins!
Most of what is pictured above is magazines subscriptions that I love to get and a few beauty samples. I like to keep up with technology in news and Bloomburg Business week and Forbes are great magazines for that as well as current events, and insightful articles.
