What's your splurging weakness?
I like a good deal, sale, hot coupons and more but one avenue that I find myself splurging on from time to time is when looking for the best bra! I actually like shopping for bras but at the same time dread it. Mainly because in my opinion no two bras are alike so it's hard to find exactly what your looking for especially with all the varieties out there. I typically stick to a selection of bras and brand that suit me the best and rarely stray from that. So to no surprise I may have for example one brand and style but have 5 colors or so of it. The same hold true for me with shoes especially flip flops.
In addition, I've found one I liked before at the store only to not like it after wearing it for a day. Has this ever happened to you? I like a seamless shape wear affect that is number one comfortable and number two does it's job! The one time I found an awesome bra lickety split was when I was picking up my bridesmaid gown for my sister's wedding. The lady brought it to me, I tried it on, and then I bought it. Normally it doesn't go that easy and very rarely is my heart set that quickly unless I really love it especially if it's a brand I've never tried before.

Spring Cleaning
A while back I mentioned web hosting but still haven't narrowed my choices down much. Knowing when to make a change in hosting is probably one of the most important steps. I have spent some time going through old posts on this blog and in a sense doing some spring cleaning. I also changed a template on my other blog and am very happy with it.
It seems I change my templates more often than most. I think I just get bored with them. I'm the same way around the house. Every so often I rearrange furniture, pictures and other odds and ends. I even have sheets for the bed that are designated for certain seasons as far as material and colors.
I also checked out an article about free vs paid templates for bloggers and found it quite interesting. I've seen a lot of both and each serves it's own purpose. I think what most people really seek out is a good design that sets them apart from others. What do you think?

Now that Winter is over...

I've really allowed this long hard winter to get the best of me. Now that winter is over (or so I hope) I'm looking forward to walking at a nearby park that has a two mile trail. Since spring is late this year I haven't been as geared up as I would like. My challenge to myself consists of a better diet, nutrition, and body strengthening.
I don't have a trainer or a special system that I'm under taking just simply doing proactive changes to benefit my overall health. It's actually a lot tougher than I thought when you are so used to your daily routine. It's also even easier to slip back into that funk. I've taken shakes in the past which I may consider doing again. I found a good one that GNC sells that's chocolate flavored as an alternative to all the coffee I drink. It's just that after awhile I get tired of them.
Anything that I can do myself will be a challenge as I'm the only one accountable. I will continue to cook as usual for the family but I may mingle in from time to time low carb oatmeal or other food substitutions like whole grains that won't be as obvious to them. I am very fortunate that we all like fruits and vegetables around here. Have you made any changes to your overall diet/health lately?

Herb Window Box
Image by Credit via FlickrA few years ago I made a windowbox and loved seeing the flowers from the kitchen window. I hadn't done that in so long that I may do that this year. We won't be gardening to much this year like we have in the past. If at all I may have a few potted herbs here and there.
I think the key to having great flower boxes is to find the perfect window. Even though I had mine off the kitchen window it wasn't really the best spot in hindsight. It was the sunniest side of the house and the heat off the bricks and in general really caused them to dry out very quickly. I watered them in the morning before work and by the time I got home they were dry as a bone. You just couldn't keep up.
I've already seen some window boxes on homes and I just think they add a very pleasing touch. I'm thinking of possibly adding herbs off the kitchen window. Our kitchen now gets plenty of light but it's not direct like other places so I think that would work out nice. What are your gardening/planting plans this year?

Ugh. It's raining again today and quite chili. Perfect time to relax and Read More of the magazines I get every week. There also wasn't a lot of excitement in the mail category this past week. However I did use the Kohl's $10 coupon I received last week toward a few goodies! I found a few clearance items so I nabbed a new Nine West wallet, Sonoma earrings, and some Candies sun shades.
The only thing that stands out this week that I even bothered to snap a photo of was a win! Back in March I posted about the new Glade spring collection where if you were one of the first 75,000 to enter you would win a free Glade spring collection item! Did any of you win one?
On another note I hope you all had a great weekend! It was nice to eat well, relax, and just hang out with family. Did you guys do anything special? I've always loved decorating eggs ever since I was little. Each year I buy a couple of different egg decorating kits. This year I tried a new one and I can't exactly remember what it was called but the kit came with paint and you put a couple drops of paint in the bag along with the the eggs which puts a shimmery type look on them. Well I can say that while these were pretty they also became very sticky from the cold of the refrigerator. So when you take one out the paint comes off on your hands. Guess I'll be peeling these in one fell swoop for egg salad!

Moving is for the Birds
(Image Credit)Wouldn’t it be nice to hire local movers to move all your belongings once you got the right local moving quotes? We didn’t move around too much when I was a child but on a couple of occasions we switched counties and schools after my siblings were born for sake of more space. I hated moving back then for fear of being away from friends but I loved the excitement of a new place.
We had our stuff professionally moved only once that I can remember which was probably due from a work transfer situation with one of my parents. I was only about six at the time and they came to our house, packed us up and hauled our load. My only concern at the time was where my toys were located and which box.
It’s actually not any easier to move as an adult either. The last move we made was crazy and exhausting as we moved across states. We didn’t get moving estimates since we had planned to do it all ourselves. It was probably the most exhausting move I’ve ever participated in especially when you factor in our furry family members (dog and two cats). Cats hated the ride and I mean absolutely hated it. One meowed through a whole state at which point I was tempted to drop him off on the side of the road (joke) as I couldn’t drive like that! If we hadn’t been so enthusiastic about doing it ourselves then maybe we would have considered long distance movers. Have you had any strenuous moves before?
