We actually used to use Norton years ago.  My husband built two desktop computers for us and a Norton CD came with one of the computer components.  We used it for quite some time before switching to another anti-virus program.  For the price that we paid we received decent coverage but found some great rated free anti-virus programs and made a switch.  The price was very affordable though and seems now they may have stepped up their programs.  Ultimately, there are many anti-virus programs out there and from our experience it’s best for you to do your homework, research and read reviews before settling on any given one.
