The Calendar

One of my favorite times of year is always Christmas. I enjoy so much being able to put the decorations up, decorate the tree, and of course enjoy all the wonderful sweets and candies that only come about once a year. My favorite thing about Christmas, of course, happens to be the chocolate calendars that come out. You can only get them once a year, and it's always so sad to see the time pass when you can purchase them. I love being able to open the window every day, have a sweet treat and know that it is one day closer to Christmas Day. Having the ability to count down the days till Santa arrives, even for an adult, is special. I have had one every year as a child, and I have kept the tradition alive as an adult. I was watching Satellite TV Sports offers last night and saw a commercial for a special keep sake calendar that still had the traditional chocolate in it, but a refillable calendar that I can use year after year. I can't wait for it to come in the mail, since I had to order one for myself. It's going to be chocolate filled Christmas this year.
