This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of AccuWeather. All opinions are 100% mine.
Do you ever plan something like an outdoor birthday party for the kids or even a day of playing at the park only to have it end up raining on you? I can't tell you how many times when I lived on the East Coast that I planned on heading to the beach on my day off for some relaxation only to have it thunderstorm. Which in turn ended up leaving me at home finishing up the laundry!
As I've grown older I've come to appreciate more of the time I can spend outdoors enjoying nature's beauty. I rely more and more on weather forecasts for this reason. Right now I'm a bit "snowed" in so to speak. It's really way too cold for my bones unless I'm sledding with my family. But, as soon as I see the first flower pop up, I know it's time! Not only time for Spring but also time for the rain showers.
Then comes Summer. I can't begin to tell you how many sweltering Summer days I have seen in my lifetime growing up in the South. I mean you literally have to watch how long you are outside as to not get a heat stroke. Not to mention those crazy hair days when humidity is sky high!!
Needless to say no matter what season it is I constantly watch the weather. Just turning on the news it's obvious all the crazy things mother nature can do. It's best to be prepared if able.
If you are like me and are a "weather-aholic" check out this new site from AccuWeather. It houses a bunch of information pertaining to not only weather but how weather in your area centers around any travel, home/garden and outdoor activities you may have. It furthers lists 5-day forecasts where you can plan any business, recreation, travel, exercise and even medicine needs. This new site is definitely going to make the weather frontier easier for me. I am going to start planning some Spring events one being Easter and this will be a great heads up for me. To check out this new site simply head over to AccuWeather.
